The Springfield Armory XD-M Compact magazine X-tension backstrap sleeve is a black polymer spacer designed to slide over a full-size XD-M magazine and properly match it to the frame of an XD-M 3.8" Compact pistol using backstrap #2. It helps fill the gap between the compact pistol frame and the magazine baseplate for a cleaner fit and improved handling. This one-piece polymer sleeve is compatible with 9mm Luger and .40 S&W XD-M full-size magazines when used in the XD-M Compact platform, and it does not extend the length of the magazine.
