The SilencerCo ASR (Active Spring Retention) Flash Hider is a black steel muzzle device designed for 9mm barrels threaded 1/2-36 TPI. It is compatible with SilencerCo ASR mounts, providing a quick attach/detach system for use with most SilencerCo suppressors. The simple one-hand-on, one-hand-off interface works with ASR muzzle devices to make it easy to move a suppressor between hosts. Once shouldered, the locking ring helps prevent the silencer from rotating or backing off under heavy firing schedules. Its patent-pending resonance suppression helps eliminate the “tuning-fork” effect common with competing 3-prong flash hiders.
