The Lee Precision Taper Crimp Die is a hardened-steel crimp die designed to help overcome crimp problems caused by poor die design, delivering a consistent taper crimp for reliable ammunition performance. It is intended for use with .45-caliber cartridges including 45 Auto Rim, 45 Schofield, 455 Web Mark, and 2/45 Win Mag. This die offers little or no advantage when used with 1986 or newer Lee dies (which already feature a modified taper crimp angle). For jacketed bullets, a crimp groove is required.
