The bolt and carrier are salt bath nitrided to increase surface hardness and corrosion resistance, while the carrier and gas key feature a Titanium Nitride (TiN) PVD coating for enhanced wear resistance and a distinctive finish. Chamfered bolt lugs help promote reliable lockup and function, and the included spring, insert, and “Crane” O-ring support consistent extraction under hard use.
