Cross Armory's Pin Pal is a durable front takedown pin replacement system designed to reduce wear at the forward pivot point of your AR-15/M4 upper receiver. Instead of bearing directly on the softer aluminum receiver hole, the Pin Pal uses a lubricated, Mil-Spec captive bearing to help reduce friction and shock loading from repeated opening and closing of the receivers. The bearing can be press fit without special tools, does not permanently alter the firearm, and is easily removable if you want to return to a factory configuration. The system includes a front takedown pin replacement with a locking nut machined from 4140 ordnance steel for long-lasting durability.
