The Armaspec Gen 3 Sound Mitigation Buffer (SMB) is a single-stage, captured, drop-in replacement for a standard AR buffer and spring. It is designed to reduce the noise and friction created when a buffer spring rubs inside the receiver extension (buffer tube), helping deliver smoother and quieter cycling. The SMB system can also reduce felt recoil, and features an adjustable spring weight for tuning performance. This Heavy (H) configuration includes the polymer base guide rod, spring, and buffer, and is made in the USA.
